Attention to detail is everything, starting with your tie. Looking neat and tidy is one of the keys to being well turned out. Wearing a well tied tie is a good start and is one thing that defines the sloppy from the smart in a line-up.

The Half Windsor knot, not quite as tricky as the Full Windsor,  is a must if you want to look tip top in the show ring. It will make a big difference to your appearance and how professional you look. This knot is more suitable for tie's made of thicker bulkier fabric or for those that prefer a smaller knot.

You need to do something 21 times consecutively before it becomes second nature . . . so get practicing!

The Full Windsor

This knot is most useful for ties made of finer fabrics or for those that like a big knot.  Tricky to master but impossible to ignore, get this knot right and you'll look the part.
